University of Turku, Finland (UTU)

University of Turku (UTU) was established in 1920 as the first fully Finnish university in Finland. UTU has 8 faculties and 4 independent units in three campuses, about 22 000 students and 3,400 staff members. Africa is one of UTU’s key focus areas internationally, as demonstrated by various multidisciplinary research projects in Tanzania, Namibia and South Africa, among others.

UTU is involved in the current project as a Technical Partner. Project will utilize UTU experiences in building sustainable, environmentally friendly university as well as guidelines and actions described in UTU International Programme 2021–2030 for internationalization.
